Pumpkin Power.

With Halloween coming up next week I wanted to make a pumpkin at the weekend. However I wanted to try and find something more fun and stylish to do with one so have been scouring the Internet for some creative ideas.

Above are the best ones I found, mainly from Martha Stewart and Lauren Conrad's websites. However if you don't want to try something new this year, nothing beats a classic!

Toe to Toe, Back to Back, Lets Go.

Cocktails tonight... just love this beat to get me in the mood!

Tuxedo Tastes.

Tuxedo striped trousers are everywhere at the minute. The stripe down the side lengths and flatters legs and the crop allows plenty of ankle cleavage.

This is how I will wear mine....

Tuxedo Trousers- Topshop. Cropped Top- Topshop. Python Clutch- The Row. Earrings- Lavin. Heels- Christian Louboutin

Break The Silence.

After six months of being completely silent I feel it is time to blog again. Since summer is over and I'm back at uni I have no excuse not to keep up the work.

Just a quick first post back... I'm sure like lots of you the wintery months coming up is starting to depress me and the thought that Ibiza will not be open for another 8 months is hitting home. However with the assistance of a playlist and good imagination music will help me get through these hard times.

This is one of my favourite from this summer, enjoy!

Pick A Poppy.

So from now on, once a week on a Friday I am going to try and post about someone who I admire or I find inspiring or just have a bit of a girl crush on, just a couple of words about who they are and a few pictures of them. To kick this off I have chosen to post about Poppy Delevigne.

Poppy Delevigne is best known because she is a ridiculously beautiful British model. You might also recognise her sister, Cara, who is featured as one of the current faces of Burberry. Despite being 100% gorgeous, I adore Poppy's style. She has the right balance between making sure her outfit is perfectly matching but at the same time looking effortless and chic. Its no surprise that she gets ten out of ten for fashion as her mum, Pandora, is the head buyer for Selfridges. Poppy is also a current brand ambassador for Chanel and has some of the coolest friends on the scene such as Alexa Chung. Enough to make any girl sick with jealousy!

But what I have to say I like best about Poppy is she is English and I think she is doing a fantastic job of representing us British girls in the fashion scene stateside. Although living in American still she remains true to British style and is a true English Rose!

Here are some of my favourite outfits worn by Poppy...

I would definitely recommend giving Poppy a follow on twitter @DelevingnePoppy she is always posting about the shows she is attending and what she is doing. Allows me to imagine my life being a little more like this hopefully...

Coachella Crushin.

As if it wasn't irritating enough not being able to go to probably one of the best music festivals in the world, Coachella, but after seeing Planet Blues Coachella inspired collection I would definitely sell my right arm to be there.

Staying true to the brand Planet Blue has gone for a casual and relaxed style reflecting what California stands for. They also have got the BEAUTIFUL Gillian Zinser, who plays Ivy Sullivan in 90210, who perfectly captures the essence of the brand and really sells that festival vibe.

My favourite look out of this collection definitely has to be the animal print shorts and backless tee. Will certainly be taking inspiration from these looks for summer but will have to keep on hitting the gym to make sure I'm as nice and skinny as Gillian to pull off those crop tops!

All the collection is available to buy now on www.shopplanetblue.com.

Chalk That Chalk.

I always want to change and be a little bit more experimental with my hair but sometimes a permenant colour isn't the best answer and can leave you walking around like a Muppet for several months. But since the one and only Lauren Conrad posted a picture of her with tie-dyed tips I  haven't wanted to try out this style myself but been far too nervous to UNTIL I found out she achieved this look by chalking her hair. Chalking is not a permanent solution for colouring your hair but will however give you the look you desire until the next time you wash your hair through.

To achieve this style of look you will need a pack of soft pastel chalk (NOT OIL BASED CHALK), spray bottle of water and a straightening iron. Twist the tips of your hair into small sections and rub the desired colour of chalk on to the middle to the tips of your hair. After chalking each individual section be sure to brush out any excess chalk that may be left on the hair. Us blonde girls do not need to use any water to achieve this look, however if you have red or dark hair wet the section of your hair before you chalk it or the colour may not show up. If blondes wet their hair the chalk will actually stain your hair and remain in for up to two weeks as a semi-permanent colour. Once you have chalked your hair a great way to really make the colour stick is running over it with a straightening iron to lock it in.

Once your hair is chalked remember that the colour will rub off so it is best to wear darker clothes that are less likely to be stained. When washing your hair after it has been chalked its best to brush it to try and get as much of it out as possible. Also it is best not to chalk your hair too often as some of the ingredients do dry out the natural oils in your hair so its best to use a deep conditioning treatment afterwards.

These are some of my favourite styles I have found on the web, enjoy!!!

Birds of a Feather.

I  have been neglecting my blogging duties lately and decided that enough was enough and it was time for me to give myself a shake and break this vow of silence! So at long last here is a new post after a month of tumble weed...

Over Christmas time I got a feather hair extension put in my hair. I would recommend these to EVERYONE. They look best when put in a lower layer of your hair and in a colour that blends in so that every now and then the extension catches peoples eye, breaks up your hair and acts as an accessory. However you can achieve a much more dramatic look with bright coloured or several extensions in the hair. In  the Summer I would like to have a turquoise or orange one put in.

The extension I used is by a brand called Royal Feathers, http://www.royalfeathers.co.uk/. They cost around £20-£25 and should last for up to 6 months. The extension can be just treat the same as your normal hair and can be blow dried, straightened and curled making them relatively low maintenance. It is applied to the hair with two small metal clamps, pressed on to a bit of your own  hair which can easily be taken in and out at any time.

These are some of my favourite pictures I found on the Internet....
